Ordering Packages from Outside EU
Ordering from Amazon UK, US, or AliExpress requires customs clearance (Desalfandegamento). Even for small amounts, you must pay VAT (23%) and a handling fee. If the value exceeds €150, import duties also apply.
You will receive an SMS or email from CTT. You must log in to the CTT Customs Portal, upload the invoice, and pay the fees online. If you ignore this for a few weeks, the package will be returned to the sender or destroyed.
