Probation Periods in Contracts

When you start a job, the first 90 days are typically the "Período Experimental" (Probation Period). During this time, either you or the employer can terminate the contract without cause and without compensation.

For highly technical roles or management positions, this period can extend to 180 or even 240 days. Always check this clause in your contract, as your job security is not guaranteed until this period officially ends.
