School Grade Equivalency

To enroll your child in a Portuguese school at the correct grade level, you need "Equivalência de Habilitações". You must submit their previous school records (apostilled and translated) to the chosen school or the DGE.

Without this, the school may place the child in a lower grade based solely on age or force them to take placement tests. Start this process months before the school year begins in September.
