Ride-Hailing (TVDE) Rules

Uber and Bolt are legally classified as TVDE. Unlike traditional taxis, they cannot pick up passengers at designated taxi ranks or be hailed on the street; all rides must be booked via the app.

Traveling with small children? Most TVDE cars do not carry child seats. You must request a "Family" or "Kids" option specifically, or bring your own portable seat, otherwise the driver can legally refuse the ride.
