Can Foreigners Vote?
Generally, only Portuguese citizens can vote in national elections. However, residents from EU countries and specific nations with reciprocity agreements (like Brazil, Cape Verde, UK) can vote in Local Municipal Elections.
To exercise this right, you must register at your local parish council (Junta) or via the voter census portal. Brazilians with "Equal Rights Status" (Estatuto de Igualdade) can also vote in national elections.
