Changing Your Address

Changing your address at the Tax Authority (Finanças) does not automatically update your residency record. You must legally notify AIMA of any address change within 60 days of moving.

This process can sometimes be done via the AIMA portal, but often requires an appointment or an email with your new Junta certificate. Failure to update AIMA can lead to missed notifications about card renewals.
