The D7 Passive Income Visa

The D7 visa is designed for retirees or individuals with stable, passive income (pensions, real estate rentals, dividends). It does not require you to have a job in Portugal, but you must prove you can support yourself.

To qualify, your passive income must meet the minimum requirement (based on the 2025/2026 minimum wage of approx. €920/month). You must provide 6 months of bank statements proving this regular inflow.
